Kantar Launches Public and Developmental Sector Practice in India

Mumbai: Kantar has launched a Public and Developmental Sector Practice in India to help governments, financial institutions and non-profits design evidence-based policies.

The practice will cover areas including agriculture, health, education, financial inclusion, governance, gender and sustainability. Kantar said it will combine its national reach—17 offices, presence in 600 towns and 2,000 villages, and 5.6 million interviews annually—with advanced tools such as AI policy simulations, GIS analytics and real-time dashboards.

“Public and government institutions need high quality data to deliver evidence-based policies,” said Deepender Rana, Executive Managing Director for South Asia. Director Puneet Avasthi added the initiative seeks to support inclusive growth across diverse sectors.
