Mumbai, India: Pine Labs Limited has partnered with Bank of Ceylon to power the bank’s prepaid multi-currency travel card using its Credit+ platform. Issued under the Mastercard scheme, the physical card enables customers to carry and transact in multiple currencies abroad.
The Credit+ platform provides end-to-end issuer processing, including onboarding, card issuance, transaction management, fraud prevention, and collections. Pine Labs CEO B Amrish Rau said the technology complies with regulatory requirements across jurisdictions.
Bank of Ceylon has issued more than 20,000 such cards to date. Assistant General Manager (International) Upul Wijayathunga said the partnership enhances convenience and reduces currency exchange losses for customers.
